In November 1885 the marriage banns were read for George and his future wife Jane Revis at St Mary’s Church, Kippax.
George and Jane were married on the 20th December 1885 at St Mary’s Church, Kippax.
On the 4th may 1886 George was injured by a Fall Of Roof while working at Allerton Colliery,
George and Jane had a daughter Sarah Ann who was Baptised on the 3rd November 1886 at St Mary’s Church Kippax.
George died on the 6th April 1887 and was buried at St Mary;s Church, Kippax on the 8th April 1887. On the burial Record his Place of Abode is shown as Cross Hill, Kippax.
