George William Robinson was born in about 1890 in Castleford.
On the 1891 census he was 1 year old and living at Stourton Grange at the old weigh cottage. His father, Richard, was an argrcultural labourer.
On the 1901 census he was 11 and living in Daqlton Terrace Castleford. His father was a domestic gardener.
On the 1911 census he 21 and living with his parents in Temple Street Castleford. Was was working as a bricklayers labourer.
In 1929 George was living in Garden Street Castleford and was working at Allerton Bywater colliery when on the 3rd February he was involved in an accident where he was hit by a fall of roof.
On April 11th he was admitted to Leeds Infirmary suffering from Pneumonia as a result of his injuries.
He died on the Thursday 18th April 1929.
The coroner gave a verdict of accidental death.
