William Parker was born in 1876 in Methley, West Riding of Yorkshire.
1881 Census:- Willaim age 5 is living with his parents Henry age 51 born in Ossett – Occupation -Grocer and provision dealer at Denison Square, Methley, mother Abigail age 51 born in Carlton, brother Henry age 18 born Methley – occupation Coal Miner, sister Annie age 14 born in Methley – no occupation, brother Tom age 16 born Methley – occupation Coal Miner, brother Alfred age 14 born Methley – Scholar, brother Walter age7 born Methley – Scholar. Also living there is Francis Grayson age 20 – Domestic Servant.
1891 Census:- William now age 15 is still at home with his father Henry age 62 – occupation Grocer, Henry has remarried and is now married to Grace White age 46 from West Ardsley, West Riding of Yorkshire, brother Henry age 28 occupation Coal Miner, Step brother Johnathan White age 18 occupation Coal Miner, brother Walter age 19 occupation Coal Miner, Step brother Edwin White age 16 occupation Coal Miner. The family are stil living at Denison Square, Methley.
Williams mother Abigail was involved in a Railway Accident coming home from Leeds and was trapped in a broken carriage.
Willaim was killed on the 17th December 1891 by a Fall of Coal while working at T & RW Bowers, West Allerton Colliery.
