George Schofield was born in about 1826.
He was injured by a fall of roof at the Haigh Moor & Silkstone coal Co. Allerton Bywater Colliery on the 10th March 1882. He died from his injuries on the 30th April 1882.
The inquest was held at the Queen’s Inn Methley on the 3rd May 1882.
The verdict was accidentally injured by fall of roof.
George was burried at St. Oswalds church in Methley on the 3rd May 1882. He was 56 years old.
