1855 – Robert BiscombRobert Biscomb was born in 1923
He was killed underground along with Joseph Pickard on the 13th January 1855 at the Locke & Co. Kippax colliery when an underground boiler burst.
Robert was burried at Kippax church on the 15th January 1855 aged 32 years..
