(Sister in Law) occupation Dressmaker. They are living at Carr Houses, Methley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1891 Census:- James Milner age 10 \u2013 Scholar is living with his father Robert Milner age 40&nbsp; born in Lockington\u2013 occupation Colliery Labourer, his mother Sarah A Milner age 42 born in Selby \u2013 no occupation, brother Robert age 14 born in Beverley \u2013 occupation Colliery Labourer. Brother Tom age 16 \u2013 Colliery Labourer, sister Maria age 13 born in Methley \u2013 Scholar, brother William age 7 born in Methley \u2013 Scholar, sister Edith age 4 born in Methley \u2013 Scholar and brother Charles age 2 born in Methley. They are living at 13 Burnley Row, Methley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1901 Census:- James now age 20 \u2013 occupation Engine Cleaner is still at home with his father Robert age 50 \u2013 occupation Shunter at Colliery, mother Sarah A age 52 \u2013 no occupation, bother Willaim age 17 \u2013 occupation (looks like Coal Cleaner above ground) possibly working on the Colliery Screening Plant. sister Edith age 14 \u2013 no occupation, brother Charles age 12 \u2013 no occupation, brother Robert age 27 \u2013 occupation Railway Engine Stoker, sister Emily age 25 \u2013 born in Normanton &#8211; no occupation and sister Dorothy age 1 born in Whitwood. They are still living at 13 Burnley Row, Methley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">James was married to Sarah Ann Lorriman age 21 in the Parish Church, Bolton Percy near York. James was living at Streethouse near Wakefield at the time of his marriage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1911 Census:- James age 30 is now head of House \u2013 occupation Stillman at a Chemical Plant and is living with his wife Sarah Ann age 27 and their three children Edith Mary age 3 born in Normanton, Chrissie age 2 born in Sharlston, Charles Lorriman Milner age 3 months born in Sharlston. They are living at Sharlston Common, near Wakefield.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">James served with the Royal Fusilliers (113 battalion Royal Field Artilliary ) in the First World War and was discharged 12<sup>th<\/sup> March 1919.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">James must have returned to working at a Colliery after serving in the First World War, he was killed on the 18<sup>th<\/sup> March 1920 &nbsp;age 39 \u2013 \u201cRun over by wagons on the surface\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He was buried at St Oswalds Church, Methley on the 20<sup>th<\/sup> March 1920. On the burial record there is a comment \u201cBy Coroners Order\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"795\" height=\"435\"
