He was baptised on March 13th 1899 at Allerton Bywater Church.<br>On the 1911 census he is 12 years old and living at 12 Navigation Road. He is listed as still at school.<br>He was married on the 29th August 1918 at All Saints Castlefor to Edith Hines aged 20.<br>On the 1921 census he is 22 years 3 months and living with his inlaws at148 Glebe Street Castleford.<br>Ronald was working as an electrician, on the 29th August 1927, when he was injured at Allerton Bywater Colliery by being crushed by tubs.
